My board memberships and offices held have often been in cooperation with a national or international organization carried out in a local or regional setting. The focus of these activities is most often centered on learning and advising with a special interest in organization, technology, and management. The knowledge gained through these service positions enhances my teaching, research and writing since it allows me to maintain connections with library and information science professionals. Assisted in organization for visiting delegations of Irish and Hungarian municipal officials in cooperation with the New Brunswick Sister Cities Committee. New Brunswick, NJ. Organized the day of meetings and the lectureship in conjunction with the American Society for Information Science & Technology, New Jersey Chapter, New Brunswick, NJ. Habitat Workshop. (2002). Presented short seminar in using the dynamic publishing platform, the Habitat for the Communication Department and the Library and Information Science Department of the School of Library and Information Science at Rutgers University.
