SCILS Undergraduate Research Day
Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to do to participate?
Participating requires four steps:
- Participate in a faculty-advised research or independent study project during the 2007-2008 academic year.
- Write an abstract that describes your work (no more than 250 words) and give your project a title. Submit both using the online registration form, which is here. You must register by March 31, 2008.
- Design, produce and display a poster that describes and explains your work. You will be given a 36 x 48 inch tri-fold poster board for your use. Look for an example of a good poster design in the SCILS lobby in March.
- Attend the event. This involves standing with your poster and talking with people who are interested in your work.
