Kay E. Vandergrift, professor of library and information science at Rutgers, is director of this certificate program. Dr. Vandergrift has an international reputation as a expert in children's literature and she is an award-winning webmaster. Michael Joseph's day job is as rare book and Jerseyana catalog librarian at Rutgers University, but his other loves are children's literature and book arts. He serves as associate director of this certificate program. Dr. Joseph is founder and moderator of the child_lit listserv and a columnist for IBBY's quarterly journal on international children's literature.
