Taking Individual Classes as a Nondegree Graduate Student |
|
Neither the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) nor the Master of Communication and Information Studies (MCIS) degree programs allow students to enroll in individual classes on a nondegree basis, except when individuals have already earned the degree and wish to take additional classes. Although most Professional Development Studies classes are part of certificate programs, it is possible to enroll in almost all of them on an individual basis rather than pursuing the certificate, as long as you meet the admissions requirements of the certificate program.
