We are pleased to share news of our standing in the April 2006 release of U.S. News and World Report's rankings of graduate programs in Library and Information Science. The rankings are out of 50 schools with accredited master's programs in library and information studies. Our overall ranking is # 6 in the country. We also placed high in four sub-specialty areas, including our #1 ranking in the School Library Media area. In both cases we have maintained our standing since the last ranking in 1999.
