DIRECTIONS to the University Inn

From the NJ Turnpike and Route 18 North

From Exit 9 of the NJ Turnpike follow Route 18 North towards New Brunswick, staying in the middle lanes. Pass the exit (two right lanes) for Route 1 North, and quickly get into the right lane, as you will need to exit immediately for Route 1 South.

On Route 1 South, you will pass Sears and then a 'Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey' sign. The first exit immediately after the 'Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey' sign is for Ryders Lane. Take the exit before you go under the overpass which is Ryders Lane toward New Brunswick, going up the ramp onto Ryders Lane. Proceed through the traffic light. (This section of the road was formerly Clifton Avenue, but is now Ryders Lane).

A short distance after the light, you will pass Cobb Road on your right, and then two houses on your right. You will also notice that the road curves sharply to the left...DO NOT MAKE THAT CURVE! Our entrance is directly in front of you, immediately left of the large yellow/black arrow sign indicating a sharp curve to the left. Drive straight into our entrance and turn left in to the parking lot.

From Route 1 South

Follow the directions from Route 1 South above.

From Route 1 North

Pass the Route 130 circle, you will see DeVry Institute on your right. Continue past the exit for College Farm Road (you will see Cook College on your left), and the next exit will be for Ryders Lane. Go under the overpass and take the Ryders Lane exit towards New Brunswick. Follow directions above from Ryders Lane.

DIRECTIONS from the University Inn

To Route 18 South and NJ Turnpike

Turn right out of the parking lot onto Ryders Lane (formerly Clifton Avenue) and proceed to the stop sign. Continue straight onto George Street and through the traffic light. George Street merges with Route 18 South. Follow Route 18 South to the NJ Turnpike.

To Route 18 North and Route 287

Turn right out of the driveway and follow Ryders Lane (formerly Clifton Avenue) around the right-hand curve. Past the stop sign, take the jug-handle/U-turn and proceed north on George Street. At the 2nd traffic light, turn right onto Commercial Avenue. Follow Commercial Avenue to the traffic light,turn left onto Route 18 North. Follow Route 18 North over the bridge to the traffic light at River Road. Turn left onto River Road and follow to Route 287.
