The Sociology of Classification

LIS Brown Bag Research Lunch: Eviatar Zerubavel, Professor of Sociology at Rutgers University, will present on "The Sociology of Classification" at the LIS Research Lunch on Monday, MARCH 24. Professor Zerubavel is the author of numerous
books, including The Fine Line: Making Distinctions in Everyday Life (Free Press, 1991. Paperback - University of Chicago Press, 1993) and Social Mindscapes: An Invitation to Cognitive Sociology (Harvard University Press, 1997. Paperback - 1999. Norwegian - 2000).
