Dr. Theiss just returned from the annual convention of the National Communication Association in Chicago, Illinois. At the convention, she presented a paper entitled "A Relational Turbulence Model of General Negativity in Romantic Relationships" on a panel devoted to theorizing about disruptive events in close relationships.
