The final grades have been submitted, the dorm rooms have all cleared out, seniors have donned their caps and gowns, and we're all settling in for the glorious first days of summer. Dr. Theiss just returned from the annual convention of the National Communication Association in Chicago, Illinois. At the convention, she presented a paper entitled "A Relational Turbulence Model of General Negativity in Romantic Relationships" on a panel devoted to theorizing about disruptive events in close relationships.
