Research affiliates are scholars, researchers and other interested individuals who have considered the question of the social consequences of mobile communication technology. Affiliates would be able to participate in discussion on the CSMC bulletin board and be able to offer on the CSMC site information concerning publications, events and sites. They would also be notified of CSMC events, publications and matters of interest to the field. It is also hoped that they would also be able to attend Center events.
Requirements (two or more):
- Active research interest in the field
- At least one publication or “in press” research article on mobile communication
- At least two presentations at public or scholarly events discussing the social aspects of mobile communication
- Teaching students about the topic
