Welcome to the 21st Century
This is cool.  SCILS is entering the 21st century by introducing the faculty and staff to blogging.  It will offer us the opportunity to express ourselves and share ideas and research without editing.  The new generation of students has created a new means of communication and we are finally getting our boards.  This medium has changed presidential politics and old school journalism in ways that we could have never imagined.  Though we get to write what we want, it will also be a great object lesson about where the industry is going and whether we can climb onboard the fast-moving train.
