New Orleans has so many things to see when visiting. The first place to check out is the old French Quater. Here the streets are small and apartments and hotels are quaint.Streetcars run througout the city and I recommend you take a ride on one. You will get to see so many old houses and streets that you would never find on your own.Cemetaries are also anohter popular attration for tourists. Ghost stories and myths about hauntings run rapid in New Orleans (to my horror). A tour guide decided to tell me my hotel was haunted on my way back to my room.Bourbon Street is a must when traveling to New Orleans even if you are not a big party animal. There are restaurts and shops that line Bourbon Street. If you do enjoy a good drink or dance there are many bars and clubs lining the streets of the French Quarter. |
